James leaned back in his dentist's chair, enjoying the gentle hum of the cleaning tools. He trusted his dentist implicitly, and the familiar routine of the check-up brought a sense of comfort. He had always taken care of his teeth, and felt pride in their health. He was having his teeth cleaned.

Later, he checked his messages, and received a text. The message was from a colleague, with a link and a single word: "Wow." James clicked, and found himself at a biography of himself. The author knew details.

He read the first few paragraphs, a slight frown forming on his face. The author had exaggerated certain aspects of his life. He closed the page, and turned to look at the window. He was content to move on with his day, the minor details easily forgotten.
